HOST FAMILY
Host Family Application
Redish Homes Agency hopes to encourage better understanding between cultures by providing families the opportunity to share their lives with an international student. Over these many years, we have had much success with students and host families telling us how much their lives have been enriched. Many families and students go on to make life long friendships.
Provided Services
We provide support services for host families and students during their homestay program.
- Host families are provided with homestay guidelines.
- Students are provided with a homestay orientation and guideline prior to their move-in.
- Our program interviews and screens students and host families.
- We are available to assist families and students during hosting program.
- We carefully match students with host families and provide each with a profile.
- Each family is paid a stipend to help cover the cost of room/board.
Requirements
- Provide private furnished bedroom
- Help your student with daily English conversation. (The purpose of students to live in US is to learn English and the life style)
- Please include your student in your family activities.
- Families are not to host students with the same nationality.

STUDENTS
Homestay
Redish Homes Agency will arrange a host family for you. We carefully match students with host families and provide each with a profile. All hosts are interviewed and carefully screened. If requested, airport pick-up service can be arranged.
Share House
Student rent a private room and share common areas such as the kitchen and bathroom with the house owner and/or other housemates. Meals are not included. We will assist you at the time of move in and if requested, airport pick-up service can be arranged.
Apartment Selection
We can assist you with finding an apartment or rental house. Please provide us with your preferences. For example, number of bedrooms, budget and etc. For more information please contact us.
School Selection
We will help you find a school. After you provide us with your requirements we will introduce you to a school. We can forward all application documents. For more information please contact us.
Payment is due at time of application. Service fee is non-refundable. Redish Homes Agency deposit is non-refundable if student cancels or does not move into host Family's home. Homestay deposit is refundable with no damage, written 30 days move out notice and requested within six month of move out.
